Ugra Narasimha Statue in Hampi is a statue of Laxmi Narasimha. The man monolithic statue was made in 1528 during the reign Krishnadevaraya. The original statue has an image of Goddess Lakshmi, consort of God sitting on his lap and hence the temple's name, Lakshminarasimha. However, in the raid of 1565 Goddess Lakshmi's statue was vandalised and removed
